Have you thought about blogging but don’t know where to begin?
I’ve dabbled in writing blogs over the years and have started maybe 5 or 6, but not having the proper tools, I eventually gave them up. I didn’t know how to get readers for my blogs. I didn’t really know what I should be writing. Well, I didn’t know a LOT of things. Sometimes, you just don’t know what you need to know–until someone with experience tells you.
That’s why I was so excited to find Pete and Heather Reese’s FREE email course, 2019 Start a Blogging Business Course! When that course came across my social media, I jumped on it. I mean–it was free! I thought, “What do I have to lose?” But let me tell you, once I started that course and signed up for their Facebook support page that is included, I was really happy with all the information and support they were giving away–for FREE! And it’s more than 5 Days of information. You get the support you need before and after setting up your blog on the Facebook page.

But Why Should You Start a Blog?
So why would you want to have a blog? There are so many reasons:
- to share what you learn or know,
- to share a book you’ve written or products you have made or love,
- to connect readers and build a community,
- to make money,
- to improve your writing,
- to inspire others,
- to promote ideas you care about,
- to mentor or teach others,
- to showcase a service you offer,
- to minister to others,
- and the list goes on!
I have my own reasons why I wanted to start a blog, but it will be good for you to find your own reasons. To help find your own “Why,” you can check out my post, Find Your “Why” — An Easy Way to Find Your Motivation to Reach Your Goals. But why blog instead of some other sort of online business? I came across this article this week and I thought this guy lists some great reasons: 15 Reasons I Think You Should Blog. Of Joshua Becker’s 15 reasons, 14 of them have nothing to do with money.
