Connect with Snapchat

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I have trouble staying connected with my young adult kids. While I joined Facebook long before they were allowed to (13 was our age requirement to join in our family), I resisted other forms of Social Media. Pinterest was a blast! But Instagram seemed kind of limited, Snapchat was silly, and I’m still figuring out Twitter. When I saw how much my kids–especially my girls–enjoyed Snapchat, I decided I should figure it out.

Snapchat is the one social media app that really helped me connect with my kids in a fun way. I discovered that they will often send a snap quicker than a message, and I can send some encouragement or let them know I’m thinking of them in a lighthearted way.

 

 

 

So be silly. Send a snap to your kids and keep the communication flowing.
